“Is she an Eponine or a Cosette?”

Lyric Teague thinks she’s the perfect girl to play the doomed Eponine in her high school production of Les Misérables. After all, for the past three years, she has survived the agony of loss and the pain of unrequited love. But the teenager quickly learns that her drama teacher and the other kids see her in an entirely different way. As opening night approaches, Lyric must determine for herself whether she’s a tragic victim or a beautiful heroine who inspires a rebellion.
